Research Associate (RA), Psychology at IIM Mumbai

About the position

IIM Mumbai invites applications for one full time Research Associate. The post is for the Project Management Institute (PMI) sponsored project "Diversity in Project Teams: Exploring the Impact of Psychological Safety on Project Performance". The project studies how individual, group and organisational factors shape psychological safety in gender-diverse teams. The post is based at the RCBD Office.

Eligibility

• Essential: post-graduation in Gender Studies, Social Sciences, Social Work, Psychology, or an MBA in Human Resources.
• Desired: Master's, M.Phil. or PhD.
• Desired: understanding of the corporate context and a good quantitative background, with proficiency in survey research and experiments. Experience in qualitative research (focus groups and interviews) is an added advantage.
• Skills: ability to work in project mode, research and problem-solving aptitude, written and verbal communication, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, systematic literature review. Working knowledge of SPSS and AMOS is an added advantage.
• Age: below 30 years preferred.
• Hostel accommodation is not provided.

Fellowship / pay

Rs. 35,000–40,000 per month (consolidated), depending on experience and qualifications. The amount is fixed on the recommendation of the selection committee. The employment is temporary, for 89 days, and may be extended up to two years at the discretion of the competent authority.
