Assistant Professor, Management at IIM Raipur

About the position

IIM Raipur invites applications for faculty positions (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor) under a Special Recruitment Drive for SC, ST, NC-OBC, EWS and PwD candidates. Posts are open in the Finance & Accounts area (Accounting, Corporate Finance, Wealth Management, Investment Banking) and the Information Systems area (Management Information Systems). The number of posts is not fixed and this is a rolling advertisement, not tied to a specific recruitment cycle.

Eligibility

Minimum qualification for all faculty positions: PhD in the appropriate branch with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree and a very good academic record throughout, plus a minimum of one year of work experience (industry or corporate) either before or after the PhD.

Professor: minimum 10 years of teaching, research or industrial experience, of which at least 4 years at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IIMs, NITIE, IISc Bangalore, IISERs or an equivalent institution of comparable standard.

Associate Professor: minimum 6 years teaching, research or industrial experience, of which at least 3 years at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent.

Assistant Professor Grade I: minimum three years of teaching, research or industrial experience (excluding the PhD period). A fresh PhD may be considered on a contract basis.

Assistant Professor Grade II: fresh PhD in the appropriate branch. Candidates who have given the viva voce with provisional award of PhD may also apply. Candidates with publications in quality journals will be preferred.

All qualifications must be from a UGC recognised University, Deemed University, MoE approved autonomous institution or AICTE approved autonomous institution, as applicable.

Fellowship / pay

Pay Level 14A: Rs. 1,59,100 to 2,20,200, Entry Pay Rs. 1,59,100 (Professor). Pay Level 13A2: Rs. 1,39,600 to 2,11,300, Entry Pay Rs. 1,39,600 (Associate Professor). Pay Level 12: Rs. 1,01,500 to 1,67,400, Entry Pay Rs. 1,01,500 (Assistant Professor Grade I). Pay Level 11: Rs. 68,900 to 1,17,200, Rs. 89,900 minimum basic (Assistant Professor Grade II). Pay carries allowances as for central government employees stationed at Raipur, including LTC, medical reimbursement, education allowance, NPS contribution, faculty development allowance and conference support, as per Institute norms.
