Assistant Professor, Management at IIM Raipur

About the position

IIM Raipur invites applications for regular, tenure track faculty positions at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor levels in the areas of Strategy & Entrepreneurship and Information Systems. This is a rolling advertisement, so applications are accepted throughout the year and reviewed periodically. Appointees will teach, research, and undertake consultancy and institution building work.

Eligibility

Minimum qualification for all faculty positions: Ph.D. in the appropriate branch with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree, and a very good academic record throughout.

Professor: minimum ten years of post-Ph.D. academic experience from IIMs, IITs, IISc Bangalore, IISERs, or equivalent Indian or foreign institutions, including at least four years as Associate Professor.

Associate Professor: minimum six years of post-Ph.D. academic experience from IIMs, IITs, IISc Bangalore, IISERs, or equivalent institutions, including at least three years as Assistant Professor (Grade I, Level 12 or above).

Assistant Professor Grade II (Level 10): fresh Ph.D./FPM graduates who have cleared their internal thesis defence.

Assistant Professor Grade I or II (Levels 11, 12 or 13A1): candidates with prior academic experience, depending on extent and relevance of experience.

All qualifications must be from UGC-recognised universities, deemed universities, or AICTE/MoE-approved autonomous institutions.

Fellowship / pay

Pay is as per the 7th CPC pay matrix: Professor at Level 14A (Rs 1,59,100 to 2,20,200), Associate Professor at Level 13A2 (Rs 1,39,600 to 2,11,300), Assistant Professor Grade I at Level 12 (Rs 1,01,500 to 1,67,400), and Assistant Professor Grade II at Level 11 (Rs 68,900 to 1,17,200, minimum basic Rs 89,900). All central government allowances and Institute fringe benefits, such as LTC, medical reimbursement, education allowance, NPS contribution, faculty development allowance and conference support, apply as per Institute norms.

3. Complete the application form fully and upload all required documents and certificates in the prescribed format and size.
4. Candidates applying for more than one area must submit a separate application for each area through the portal.
5. Note the application number from the acknowledgment email for future correspondence. No changes are allowed after final submission.
6. SC/ST/OBC-NC/EWS/PwD candidates must enclose valid category certificates in the prescribed format; OBC-NC and EWS certificates must be dated on or after 1 April of the current financial year.
