About the position

IIM Raipur invites applications for faculty positions on the regular (tenure) track in the areas of Information Systems and Finance & Accounts. The posts span Assistant Professor (Grade I and Grade II), Associate Professor and Professor levels. This is a rolling advertisement, so applications are accepted throughout the year and reviewed periodically by the Institute. The notice does not state the number of vacancies.

Eligibility

Candidates should have a demonstrated ability to make relevant intellectual contributions to experienced and potential managers through teaching, training, research, and published work, with a strong academic background and understanding of current developments in the related field.

Minimum qualification for all faculty positions: PhD in appropriate branch with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree, with a very good academic record throughout, AND a minimum of one year of work experience (industry / corporate) either before or after obtaining the PhD.

Professor: minimum 10 years of teaching/research/industrial experience, of which at least 4 years at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IIMs, NITIE, IISc Bangalore, NITIE Mumbai, IISERs or equivalent.

Associate Professor: minimum 6 years teaching/research/industrial experience, of which at least 3 years at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent.

Assistant Professor Grade I: minimum three years of teaching/research/industrial experience (excluding PhD period). A fresh PhD may be considered on a contract basis.

Assistant Professor Grade II: fresh PhD in the appropriate branch. Candidates who have given the viva voce with provisional award of PhD may also apply. Candidates with publications in quality journals preferred.

All qualifications must be from a UGC recognised University / Deemed University / MoE-approved autonomous institution / AICTE-approved autonomous institution, as applicable.

Fellowship / pay

Professor, Level 14A: Rs. 1,59,100-2,20,200, Entry Pay Rs. 1,59,100.

Associate Professor, Level 13A2: Rs. 1,39,600-2,11,300, Entry Pay Rs. 1,39,600.

Assistant Professor Grade I, Level 12: Rs. 1,01,500-1,67,400, Entry Pay Rs. 1,01,500.

Assistant Professor Grade II, Level 11: Rs. 68,900-1,17,200, Minimum Basic Rs. 89,900.

Pay carries all other allowances as for central government employees stationed at Raipur, including LTC, medical reimbursement, education allowance, NPS contribution, faculty development allowance and conference support, as per Institute norms.
