Research Associate (RA), Ceramic Engineering at IIT (BHU) Varanasi

About the position

IIT (BHU) Varanasi invites applications for a Research Associate (RA) in the Department of Ceramic Engineering. The post is for the project "Centre of Excellence (COE): Center for sustainable hydrogen technologies and fuel cell development", sponsored by UPNEDA. The Principal Investigator is Dr. Preetam Singh. The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Eligibility

Essential qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Ceramic Engg. / Mechanical Engg. / Chemical Engg. / Chemistry / Physics or equivalent degree of any allied branches with related areas to the project.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in electrode preparation and materials development for fuel cell, batteries, and materials and equipment handling in hydrogen generation and storage, in any industry or national laboratory.

Desirable: expertise in materials synthesis, characterization, electrode preparation and materials development for fuel cell and batteries.

Upper age limit is 35 years, relaxable as per GoI rules. All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GoI rules.
