Research Associate (RA), Civil Engineering and Materials Science at IIT Hyderabad

About the position

IIT Hyderabad invites applications for one Research Associate-I post. The post is under the Centre of Excellence on Clean Coal Energy and Net Zero (CLEANZ). The project is "Coal-ash based self-cleaning Bricks/Tiles for non-load bearing tiles and cladding applications". The Principal Investigator is Prof. Atul Suresh Deshpande, Department of Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering. The appointment is on contract for one year and may be extended based on performance.

Eligibility

• Essential qualification: Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or Packaging Technology.
• Desirable experience: fabrication of ceramic/polymer composites and concrete, mechanical testing and material characterization.
• Number of vacancies: 01.

Fellowship / pay

₹58,000 per month + 30% HRA (as per DST norms).
